Your Guide To Moka Pot
Follow this step-by-step stovetop timeline guide to extract the most delicious, rich cup of BREW from your Moka Pot.
Add Hot Water
Fill the lower chamber with hot water. Starting hot means less time on the heat, which means a sweeter, less bitter cup. Fill it up to the safety valve.
Add Ground BREW
Add 15-18 g of ground BREW to the filter basket and level it gently. Don't tamp, the Moka Pot needs space for pressure to build on its own.
Screw and Heat
Screw the top and bottom chambers together firmly. Place on your stove over medium-low heat with the lid open so you can watch what's happening.
Observe & Remove
As the water heats, BREW will begin rising into the upper chamber. When the flow lightens and you hear a gentle gurgling sound, take it off the heat immediately.
Stop the Extraction
Close the lid and let it finish on residual heat. For a sweeter finish, run the base under cold water for a few seconds to stop the extraction right at the good part.
Stir & Serve
Give the BREW in the upper chamber a gentle stir before pouring. It evens out the concentration nicely. Your BREW is ready! Pour straight into your mug and drink it while it's fresh.
